  Khalia Braswell is a senior majoring in Computer Science at North Carolina State University. Her interests in computer science and technology grew in high school when she took programming courses at Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology in Charlotte, North Carolina.

  As a student-leader, Khalia has tied her interests in social media/technology with her leadership positions. Last year, Khalia served as the Region II Public Relations/Publications Chairperson for the National Society of Black Engineers where she was responsible for all publicity including social media updates and press releases.
