    Research Scholar

    A native of the Virgin Islands and former sneaker collector, KaMar Galloway is a graduate of NC State's computer science department. During college, he developed his love for simplifying computer science concepts by teaching middle school boys at Durham Nativity School. Now a Program Manager at Google in South Carolina, he and his team developed Google CS First, a free video based program that explores computer science through Music, Sports, Games, and Fashion.

    KaMar guest blogs for MyHealthImpact because it’s an opportunity to raise mental awareness and welcome people through a sense of community. Combining his love for technology and footwear, KaMar is extremely interested in the birth of wearable computing and the impact it will have on making healthy decisions.
